Maxxis Minion DHR II TR EXO 3C MaxxTerra MTB folding tyre

The MAXXIS Minion DHR II has been a renowned tyre in the gravity sector for many years and is designed for versatile use on trails, enduro rides and in bike parks. The supported side knobs offer high lateral support in aggressive bends, while transverse centre knobs are designed for maximum braking traction.

The open tread pattern is designed for dry and loose surfaces as well as technical trails and is intended to provide predictable riding behaviour even in changing conditions. Depending on the bike set-up, the Minion DHR II is suitable both as a rear tyre with high braking traction and as a front tyre for aggressive trail and gravity use.

In this version, the Minion DHR II combines EXO Protection with the 3C MaxxTerra rubber compound for trail and all-mountain use with a focus on balanced traction, control and efficient rolling behaviour in technical terrain.

Technologies:

• EXO PROTECTION
EXO Protection is an extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant protective layer on the sidewall of selected MTB, Gravel and Metro tyres from MAXXIS. The tightly woven material is designed to be both light and flexible, so that the performance of the tyres is affected as little as possible.

• 3C MaxxTerra
3C MaxxTerra is a triple rubber compound from MAXXIS for trail and enduro use. The compound combines low rolling resistance with a set-up designed for grip and traction and is positioned between 3C MaxxSpeed and 3C MaxxGrip. Within the MAXXIS range, 3C MaxxTerra is the golden mean for trail use.

• TUBELESS READY [TR] 
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
