Maxxis Rambler [Gen.2] TR EXO HYPR-X Folding Gravel Tyre

The MAXXIS Rambler [Gen.2] is a versatile gravel tyre with a focus on efficient rolling performance on firm to variable surfaces. The narrow centre tread with ramped knobs is designed to support smooth rolling behaviour, while the more open shoulder knobs offer additional lateral support and more control off-road. The construction is complemented by the revised hot-patch design on the sidewall.

Thanks to the balanced tread design, the Rambler covers a wide range of use including fast gravel rides and changing surfaces. 


Technologies: • EXO PROTECTION
EXO Protection is an extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant protective layer on the sidewall of selected MTB, Gravel and Metro tyres from MAXXIS. The tightly woven material is designed to be both light and flexible, so that the performance of the tyres is affected as little as possible.

• HYPR-X Compound®
HYPR-X is a rubber compound which has been specially developed for gravel tyres by MAXXIS. It combines properties of the HYPR road tyre compound with elements of the MaxxSpeed MTB compound and is designed to reduce rolling resistance and improve cornering traction compared to the previous DUAL compound.

• TUBELESS READY (TR) 
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
