Mountain bike per un utilizzo davvero particolare: The Bruce & The Jester
DIRT JUMP E SLOPESTYLE – AZIONE!
E tu? Con quale bici vuoi imparare a volare?
Hop on and enjoy your ride – this is what THE BRUCE 1 promises! It's the workhorse of ROSE's squad and can take a fair bit. The tubeset is extremely robust, yet not too heavy, the components are desinged for durability and robustness. During landing, cranks and bottom bracket are subject to heavy load. That is why we have given THE BRUCE 1 a Truvativ Hussefelt 1.1. This singlespeed chainring has 34 teeth. Its crank arms are hard to put in an embarrassing situation and the pedal thread inserts also set new standards with regards to durability. In dirt jumping, the wheels are subject to heavy loads, too, and this is where high quality should be a top priority. The rims are made by the company Sunringlé. The Inferno 25 stand out for a welded rim seam and excellent stability. The hubs all come from the company Halo: The front wheel is equipped with a high-quality Spin Doctor and the rear wheel with a solidly constructed and durable DJD Rear Bushed Singlespeed hub.
Our playmobile among dirt bikes, THE BRUCE 2: agile, nimble and sovereign. The frame is extremely stable and especially designed for highest loads, while only weighing almost 2000 grams. A Manitou Circus Expert with a sporty travel of 100 mm and a 20 mm thru axle can be found at the front. It is a welcome guest on many dirt bikes and impresses with a low weight, high torsional stiffness and many adjustment options. Moreover, it is easy to adjust - ranging from tight to soft, it offers the right suspension performance for everyone – and really good-looking. The wheels are smooth running, the rims come from the German company Spank. They are called Spoon and combine a good design with extremely high durability. Everything revolves around a Halo Spin Doctor – and Halo DJD Rear Bushed Singlespeed hubs. They are lightweight yet extremely durable and meet the high demands of dirt jumping.
Great deeds - great bike! Those are the moments we have developed the THE BRUCE 3 for. This bike comes with a really nice suspension fork: a Rock Shox Pike DJ Solo Air. It is surely one of the best dirt jump forks ever. It offers 100 mm of travel and the extremely stable 36 mm chassis only has a weary smile for high jumps. Yet the featherweight of only 1900 grams ensures quick response, which is no wonder taking into consideration that the lowers are made from magnesium. For improved performance, the lower tubes are also anodized for low friction. The charger damping is individually adjustable to your personal preferences. If you are using a break, it should be a really good one: The SRAM Guide R knows what really matters: Four pistons offer great braking power and control. One finger is enough to handle the concentrated power. The Guide R features a Centerline brake disc with a diameter of 160 mm and is lightweight, stable as well as very aggressive.
THE JESTER 1 is our absolute fun bike for slopestyle beginners – wild and untamed! A high-quality frame with sophisticated, strong rear stay builds the basis for lasting downhill pleasure. Important are of course good components, too, which the THE JESTER 1 has without doubt! To start with, it comes with an excellent fork, the Manitou Circus Expert. With this suspension fork, Manitou has launched a fork that is especially designed for slopestyle and dirt jump and which has already become a big success. The Circus Expert represents the ideal compromise between weight, suspension performance and stability. The 100 mm travel come with a stiff factory setting, however, the fork can be easily tuned to suit your personal preferences and the prevailing terrain perfectly. Another quality product is fitted at the rear: a Rock Shock Monarch RT shock. Its slim design impresses with high resilience and easy adjustment. Its responding qualities are outstanding and offer perfect traction even on the toughest track.
When it’s getting serious THE JESTER 2 takes up the fight. With 90 mm of travel at the rear and sophisticated bearing technology at the pivot points, the bike combines the stability of a hardtail with the suspension comfort of a full-susser. It is easy to handle, responds quickly and pushes you on a new Slopestyle level. The sensational Rock Shox Pike DJ 26" Solo Air is mainly responsible for the bike’s low weight and impressive performance. The high-end fork is setup extremely progressive and still leaves room for tuning. The integrated Charger damper prevents bottoming out when jumping, the Solo Air spring even easily manages highest jumps. The 35 mm chassis is extremely robust and made from magnesium – this makes the fork extremely lightweight, it tips the scales at under 1900 grams! A robust fork needs a robust crankset and we opted for the Holzfeller OCT 1.1. The singlespeed chainring has 32 teeth, the crank arms are made from high-strength aluminium – these are components you can rely on!
