GROUND CONTROL – pieno controllo del trail!
Conquer the mountain – with the GROUND CONTROL 1! The bike's sophisticated geometry makes it perfectly suitable for all kinds of off-road adventures. To ensure that the suspension system can show its strengths, the GROUND CONTROL 1 is completely equipped with Rock Shox components. At the front, a Rock Shox Revelation RL Solo Air ensures a smooth ride. It comes with a 15 mm thru axle and 130 mm of travel. The Revelation shows a perfect compromise between weight and torsional stiffness, while offering great sensitivity. As it features the Motion Control DNA system, it offers soft damping and perfectly reacts to several compressions in quick succession. In addition, the bike comes with a Rock Shox Monarch RT3 rear shock. It controls 130 mm of travel at the rear stay, while reacting extremely sensitively and measures the ground like a seismograph. The Monarch RT3 comes with a larger air chamber for even more control and traction so that the bike won't even lose ground in sharp corners on on rough terrain.
A little all-mountain bike with the look of a cross country racer – the GROUND CONTROL 2 is a perfect example for versatility. The precise SRAM GX groupset consisting of a crankset, shifter, front derailleur and rear derailleur ensures perfect and powerful acceleration. It combines light, crisp shifting processes with a low weight and top-notch workmanship – and does also look damn good. As regards tyres, this bike relies on a modern classic: The Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo Snakeskin tyres offer low rolling resistance, a lot of grip and are extremely resistant to punctures thanks to a reinforced sidewall. For increased riding dynamics, the GROUND CONTROL 2 comes with a Rock Shox Reverb Stealth. This Vario seatpost can be controlled from the handlebar; the hydraulic cable is routed through the frame to protect it from dirt, damages and envious glances. It offers an adjustment range of 150 mm so that the seatpost can be dropped so far that nothing is standing in the way of technically demanding situations.
Our leader of adventurers, equipped with best components and convincing performance - this is the GROUND CONTROL 3. The top model offers high-tech equipment as far as the eye can see. The drivetrain is reliable and offers the highest technological standard. It comes from the brand Shimano: Rear derailleur, front derailleur, shifter, cassette and crankset all bear the XT label. Thanks to the Shadow technology, the XT rear derailleur is extremely slim, which significantly reduces the risk of contact to rocks, roots or similar. A pair of excellent wheels - DT Swiss XM 1501 Spline One – tops off the package. The high-quality system wheelset features the Straight Pull system that stands out for an even load distribution along the spokes. On conventional models with a spoke elbow, the bent part of the spoke is subject to heavy loads which may result in spoke breakage or a total failure of the wheel. However, on the DT Swiss wheel, this risk is further reduced by a locking system that is injected into the nipple thread for increased stiffness and durability of the wheel.
