Our PRO SL DISC 105 is the ideal entry to the world of cycling. SHIMANO’s proven 105 groupset provides crisp gear changes and outstanding reliability. This road groupset is a true marathon classic. Powerful disc brakes of this groupset provide safety – they can show their strengths especially in wet or difficult weather conditions. This makes them almost indispensable for long-distance riders. Another advantage that the bike gets from the disc brakes is the tyre clearance of up to max. 32 mm. If you want to ride on unpaved roads, you can simply fit wider tyres instead.
Design & Integration
The PRO SL is made of torsion-resistant aluminium with elegant welded seams for a frame with carbon look. A fully integrated cable routing solution on the headset hides gear and brake cables – for a clean cockpit. These days, fully integrated cables simply belong to every high-quality bike, yet they are very easy to maintain: handlebar, stem and spacers can be easily replaced, without having to disconnect cables. The saddle clamp is integrated, too. Especially in the entry-level segment, this is a modern design element.
Comfort & Balance
The new ROSE high-end carbon fork guarantees improved performance, thanks to a great balance between stiffness and weight to flex – underlining the ambitions of the bike. The geometry is relaxed and the upright, effort-saving riding position provides advantages especially on long distances.

The bike is unbelievably nice. Well assembled, looks terrific!
The two stars goes to the "shop". It is really hard to think that such a brand, which such reputation would ship a bicycle without any regulation whatsoever.
Once it arrived I was pretty eager to ride, but then I noticed that it would be required for me to adjust every single gear.
And even worst, I never imagined that I would neeed to adjust and bleed the brakes from a BRAND NEW BIKE. Completely unacceptable. Specially if you think that other brands (such as Cube, from which I got a gravel not so long ago) did a terrif job on sending a perfectly regulated bike.
Long story short: great, beautiful bike. But beware that you either need assist from a bike shop or need to regulate things yourself.

Das Fahrrad wurde schneller als erwartet geliefert, vollständig und mit allen Teilen.
Alles schien in gutem Zustand, allerdings habe ich beim Zusammenbauen gemerkt, dass die Schaltung schlecht eingestellt war. Als Laie weiss man nicht wie man dies richtig einstellt, was man von einem Fahrrad in dieser Preisklasse erwartet. Dies ist aber kein grosses Problem, da man es recht einfach bei einem Service in jedem Fahrrad anpassen lassen kann.
Das Hauptproblem: Ich hatte Schleifgeräusche an der Vorderbremse, obwohl diese richtig eingestellt war. Auch nachdem ich in einer professionellen Werkstatt war konnten sie das Problem nicht beheben - unter Spannung, wenn ich (mit weniger als 70kg) auf den Pedalen stehe oder langsam Kurven fahre läuft die Bremse unrund und schleift und ein Teil muss wohl von Werk aus verzogen sein oder sich schon unter leichter Belastung verformen. Dies hat die Werkstatt bestätigt. Das ist für mich sehr bedenklich und ich kann auch noch Wochen nach dem Kauf nicht mit dem Rad fahren und hoffe, dass ROSE das Problem lösen kann.
Daher bin ich bislang sehr unzufrieden, werde aber die Bewertung updaten, sobald ich die Reaktion den Kundenservices miteinbeziehen kann.

Fahrrad ist sehr hochwertig und erzielt ein Top Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
- Schaltung war nicht ordnungsgemäß eingestellt.
- Schnellspann Steckachse auch für vorne wünschenswert.

Entgegen meiner Befürchtungen (durch die vielen negativen Berichte hier unter der Seite) echt zufrieden. Rennrad zur Abholung in Posthausen bestellt, 7 Tage später die Email, dass das Rennrad angekommen ist, Termin gebucht und abgeholt. Sehr freundlicher Kundenservice, das Rennrad von der Preis-Leistung top, Schaltung ist gut eingestellt, Bremsen schleifen (bisher, knapp 200km) nicht. Einziger Negativpunkt sind die fehlenden Anschraubpunkte. Bis auf die Schrauben für Flaschenhalter gibt es keine Möglichkeit Zubehör zu montieren, gerade zum Pendeln ist das zwar machbar, aber recht unpraktisch. Ingesamt aber ein sehr gutes Rennrad in seiner Preisklasse!

In diesem Preisbereich ein wirklich schickes und funktionales Rad. Rose typisch schön verarbeitet und die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und zuverlässig.
Kleiner Minuspunkt für die vordere Bremsscheibe, die ich wegen einem Schlag direkt wechseln musste.

Bisher nur Frust.
Es ging los mit einem beschädigen Karton. Der Bremshebel hatte sich durch den Karton gebohrt und somit schon einige Kratzer. Na gut, passiert.
Bike war schnell aufgebaut, nun wollte ich es testen.
Nächstes Problem:Schaltung.
Die Kette schliff in fast allen Gängen am Umwerfer. Also Fahrrad in Werkstatt. 24H später bekam ich es zurück, mit dem Hinweis "geht nicht besser". Also zur nächsten Werkstatt, aber auch der bekam es nicht zu 100%hin. Allerdings fand er das nächste Problem und zwar ein festes Kettenglied.
Als ich dann nach 3 Wochen endlich mein Fahrrad testen konnte, war ich anfangs begeistert. Abgesehen von der guten Optik/Verarbeitung , fährt es sich gut.
Allerdings wurde der Spaß nach exakt 51 km beendet. Platten... Kein Glas, kein Splitt, kein Schlagloch, einfach Boom und kaputt. Die Freude über meine abendliche Wanderung(zum Sonntag) war natürlich unermesslich groß.
Fazit: Ich würde niemanden empfehlen Online zu bestellen. Trotz der guten Optik, hatte ich bisher nur Probleme. Die von mir aufgezählten Probleme stehen leider schon in anderen Rezensionen, speziell der Versand und die schlecht eingestellte Schaltung sind der Marke Rose unwürdig.
