SHIMANO DEORE BL-M6200 / BR-M6220 4-piston Disc Brake

The hydraulic disc brake set, consisting of the SHIMANO DEORE BL-M6200 brake lever and the SHIMANO DEORE BR-M6220 4-piston brake caliper, combines powerful braking performance with good modulation for demanding MTB use. Thanks to SERVO WAVE technology, four pistons and SHIMANO LOW VISCOSITY mineral oil, the brake combines powerful deceleration with good modulation. Even on long descents, the system ensures consistent braking performance.

The BR-M6220 brake caliper features a rigid, two-piece design. Together with the redesigned piston seal and the heat-resistant plastic pistons, this ensures excellent temperature stability and improved control on the trail. 

The brake lever features the tried-and-tested SHIMANO SERVO WAVE technology, which brings the brake pads into contact with the brake disc early on, thereby delivering high braking power whilst allowing for precise modulation. Thanks to its compatibility with I-SPEC EV, the cockpit can also be kept particularly tidy.

The J-Kit comes pre-filled and, thanks to the pre-installed olive, allows for easy cutting of the cables as well as cable routing inside the frame, too. Additional bleeding is therefore generally unnecessary.
