With the electronic GRX Di2 RX817 11-speed rear derailleur, the Japanese bike industry giant SHIMANO launches the first gravel-specific shifting system for your gravel racer. For this, the developers have used the long proven Shadow RD+ technology from the mountain bike sector, featuring a friction damper that slows down the forward and backward movement of the RD-RX817 Di2 rear derailleur. This significantly reduces the risk of chain bouncing and jump off and shifting into the wrong gear, while significantly reducing chain noise. This guarantees silent, smooth, precise and reliable electronic gear changes in challenging terrain.
