The SRAM GX Eagle Transmission™ Direct Mount chainring with T-Type technology is perfectly matched to the Eagle Transmission™ drivetrains for maximum chain control, smooth running and excellent wear behaviour.
The GX chainring is mounted directly on the crank arm via the SRAM 8-bolt interface. With 3 mm offset and combined with the SRAM MTB Wide cranksets, it ensures the 55 mm chainline of the Eagle Transmission™ shifting systems.

According to the manufacturer, the Eagle Transmission™ T-Type chainrings are backwards compatible with Eagle™ 12-speed chains and can therefore be used with Eagle™ drivetrains. However, Eagle™ chainrings that are not T-Type cannot be used with Eagle Transmission™ chains.
