The grippy ULTREAD EX rubber sole will keep you on the pedals during your adventures. But also off the bike, the EX midsole with EVA foam layer is comfortable while walking. The BOA L6K twist closure allows you to quickly and easily adjust the EX7 cycling shoes to your feet. A wide contact surface on the forefoot offers you grip and prevents rattling when walking.
In terms of environmental awareness, the shoe also scores points with approx. 9% recycled mesh fabric on the upper shoe and a midsole made from a good 20% recycled material.

BOA L6:
A closure system consisting of dials and stainless steel wires that allow for precise adjustments. This combination allows cyclists to even adjust the shoes while riding. As there are no Velcro straps, the front part of the shoe is well-ventilated. The shoes can be closed by pushing and turning the dials in the direction of travel. The laces loosen by pulling the dial.
ULTREAD EX:
Lightweight rubber outsole with optimal tread for exciting outdoor adventures in the saddle or on foot. Traction and stability when walking and pedalling are the focus of this outsole, so shoes with this sole are ideal for bikepacking tours. The great traction is made possible by the wide herringbone pattern surface on the forefoot, the lightweight rubber compound and the contoured toe profile. Thanks to a raised heel structure and block heights oriented towards mountaineering shoes, they also provide good cushioning and grip on loose ground.
